Can you believe it's already February? Wow, this year is off and running and I've learned so many new things already. Amongst them is the continuing of my studies in learning the Swedish language (as this is where my mother's side of the family comes from.) And I've loved it so much that now I've added Portuguese (a language brought into the family by the marriage of some of our children.) Hopefully I won't mix the two together and create a whole new language!
I continue to work on my young adult novels. I have completed the first one, but I'm still giving it a few more run-throughs before I send it off to a publisher. I am excited about this project and will start the sequel as soon as I'm sure I have everything in place that I want to for this first one. I feel this novel has turned out quite good and will lead to an even more fantastic adventure in the second one!
